"Islands in the Stream" brings me so much nostalgia. I used to hear it on the way to school all the time. I actually have not read much by C.S. Lewis either - only the Chronicles of Narnia (I think) when I was younger. I really enjoyed reading your article! Thanks for sharing your little joys - I've taken some inspiration 😁
First time reading a post of yours and so much resonates.
I’ve also been coloring this year, it’s been so soothing in times of tension, like it gives my brain an actual break. It’s also nice to hear someone else is struggling with the romance book genre - I haven’t figured out what to read next. It’s funny you mentioned CS Lewis because after a recent podcast discussed his writing, I’ve been contemplating reading one of his book. Your post is giving me the extra nudge!
I also took out my ukulele for the first time in years to try playing Choosin’ Texas! I thought I didn’t like country music, but Ella Langley is good. 😂🤍
Coloring is super peaceful to me
It’s such a good hobby🙂↕️
I really like this gratitude-style article. Hobbies decorate our lives!! You have inspired me to go shopping for a coloring book this week 🖍️
“Hobbies decorate our lives”, I need to write that somewhere!!🩷

It's such a good song! And yeah I haven't even read The Chronicles of Narnia, so you're ahead of me, LOL
